Lawrence Rotary - Mayors Cup Golf Tournament

Close to 70 members and guests of the Lawrence Rotary Club came together at the Haverhill Country Club on September 28th to enjoy a spectacular sunny day of golf while raising just over $13,000. One hundred percent of the proceeds will go to the Club’s scholarship program that assists youth in Lawrence with college tuition.

The event was chaired by Kathy Boshar, President-elect of Rotary. Ms. Boshar, along with 12 committee members worked for months to coordinate the program which included a program book, Live Auction and Silent Auction.

Winning the tournament was Jim Edholm along with Bob Eddy, Bob Heitz and Steve Gruenberg. Coming in second place were: Pete Peterson, Rich LeBeouf, Bob Cochrane and Ray Milliard. Third place – and coming the longest distance to participate was, George Trethewey (Dedham), Rick Shaw, George Shattuck and Gary Cedrone. Winning the longest drive was Steve Gruenberg and the closest to the pin was won by Ed Hunter.
