Local Philanthropy - LRC Donates $25000

The Rotary Club of Lawrence is proud to announce that, in addition to its annual community service donations, it has made additional donations totaling $25,000 to assist in the funding of Lawrence community children's activities of selected Lawrence-based community organizations.

The names of the selected organizations and the specific activity to be funded are listed below:

$5,000 to Adelante, Inc. for its Youth Center;
$5,000 to Lawrence Boys and Girls Club for its ABA Camp;
$5,000 to Esperanza Academy for tuition scholarship;
$5,000 to Essex Art Center for its after school art program for children;
$2,500 to the YMCA for its after school music program; and
$2,500 to Lawrence Community Works for its after school fashion design and video production programs.

 

The Lawrence Rotary Club is proud to assist these community organizations in the funding of their most worthy programs for the children of the Lawrence community.
